liberal.org.nz is published by a group of like-minded liberals to promote awareness of, and support for, classical liberalism. (Take the Touchstone test to see how closely your views match the liberal agenda.)

liberal.org.nz does not receive -- nor does it seek -- any support from any political party. Rather, we hope to influence the policy process indirectly by promoting classical liberalism.

Why does liberal.org.nz use a star as its motif?

The motif is taken from New Zealand's flag. The flag uses four red stars with white borders arranged in the shape of a cross representing the constelation Crux, commonly known as the Southern Cross. It bears no relation to stars associated with other countries or ideologies.
